General Instructions

  1. Most of the blood tests are best when taken on overnight fasting (usually 8-10 hr).
  2. For Lipid Profile and other packages containing lipid test, 11- 12 hr fasting is mandatory. (Even tea or coffee should be avoided).

  3. If PP blood sugar also to be done, come 2 hr after finishing the meal (Note the time when you finish your meal. From that time the gap should be 1 hr 45 minutes, make sure not to exceed 2 hr). Eat only once. If on Diabetes medicine or insulin, take the dose on scheduled time. Don't skip the dose on the day of testing.

  4. Urine/Stool sample should be submitted in containers provided by the laboratory.
  5. For all Culture tests, sample should always be given in the sterile disposable culture bottle provided by the laboratory.
  6. Most of the results are ready by the evening 6.00 pm.
  7. You may consult your Physician for interpretation of your report and any further tests, if required.
